RECAP | South Houston ID @ Manvel HS

We kicked off 2024 with our Pre-Season South Houston ID at Manvel HS this past Sunday. This event featured some talented players along with some up and coming players in the area. As we jump into the season we look forward to finding more players to put on our radar for Team Texas and other Invite-Only Events.
Coverage of the event can we found on x.com/2DsportsTX. This Pre-Season ID is just the beginning of a big 2024 season for the players in the State of Texas. More ID's, Invite-Only events, and Tournaments are around the corner headlined by the 2nd Annual Southeast Cup as we search for the top 20 Players in the State to Represent Team Texas in Hattiesburg, Mississippi August 2-4 at the University of Southern Mississippi.

SCOUT NOTES: Athletic frame with room to add. Cook, a RHP w with a fast arm was fun to watch this past weekend. The uncommitted senior showed 3 pitches with + movement. He's got plenty more in the tank as he grows

SCOUT NOTES: Angel was silky smooth on the infield at the South Houston showcasing good hands and feet. Gutierrez a LHH barreled balls to all part of the field with consistent solid contact. Angel showcased good speed running a 6.89 60. Good senior follow for 2024.
