We were excited to welcome 30+ players and 13+ colleges at the 2nd Annual Uncommitted Games last weekend. The event consisted of 2024/2025 grads going toe to toe with some of the areas top players. We saw some familiar names along with some new names that put themselves on the radar. Coverage of the event can we found on x.com/2DsportsLA. TOP PERFORMERS

Truman Moyer – 2024 – Hahnville

Big bodied right handed hitter who took one of the best BP rounds of the day. Showed good pop to the opposite side of the field and was able to get hands through the zone with good bat speed for a few hits to the pull side. Plus arm from the outfield which was on display by throwing a runner out at second base trying to stretch a single into a double.

Collier Crockett – 2024 – De La Salle

Top performer at the plate that was capped off by a 375ft homerun to LF with an exit velo of 97mph. Also had two doubles. In BP, showed the ability to hit to all fields with heavy pull side pop while hands got extended and barrel whipped through the zone.

Conner Lacour – 2024 – Catholic Pointe Coupee

Took a very professional batting practice showing plus power to all parts of the field. Barrel stays through the zone and generates good bat whip. Translated over in the games with a few hits including an extra base hit. Strong arm from the outfield and the ability to play all three outfield spots.

Egan Prather – 2025 – Brother Martin

In game 1.94 pop time. Was able to throw numerous base stealers out. Received well with soft hands and managed the game for all innings. Also, showed pull side barrel awareness with two hits to the left side.

Cam Washington – 2025 – Live Oak

Shows a good presence at the plate on the left side drawing two walks and showed the ability to hit to all fields with multiple hits. Short, compact approach at the plate. Covered a lot of ground in the outfield and has plus awareness on the base paths.

OTHER NOTABLE PLAYERS:

Kenneth Berard – 2024 – Live Oak

Two doubles, one to pull side gap to right and the next to the opposite field gap.

Jackson Wall – 2024 – Fontainebleau

Good two way prospect. Sat 80-82 topping at 84. Good feel for breaking ball at 74-76. 

Kelan Guidry – 2025 – Parkview Baptist

Made plenty of great plays at shortstop with good range and smooth hands. Two walks and a hit in game 2. Strong follow in 2024.

Brady Johnson – 2024 – Slidell

Three hard hits throughout the day and found the barrel in multiple at bats.

Michael Scott – 2024 – Mandeville

6’2” RHP. Fastball sat 84-86 with good vertical life. Ability to land three pitches for strikes.

Trevor Hodges  – 2025 – Live Oak

Three scoreless innings sitting 82-83. Able to land breaking ball in all counts that was 68-70 with 2300+ spin rate.

Owen Stempel – 2025 – Archbishop Hannan

6’2” RHP with long frame. Fastball sat 83-85 and commanded the strike zone.

Ian Edwards - 2024 - Covington

Struggled to start the game with command late in the fall season. Came back in the 2nd inning with much better control before coming out of the game. Sat 84-86mph topping at 87mph. Edwards will be a name to follow in 2024 if he continues to increase velocity and works on consistently commanding 3 pitches for strikes.

Carter Reynolds - 2025 - Captain Shreve

Undersized but hardworking 2025 catcher. Had a great approach at the plate with a multi hit day capped off by a double and 2RBI's game 1. Caught a strong 16 innings on the day.

Kannon Dempsey - 2024 - Mcleod (TX)

Strong big bodied 2024. Went 4-6 at the plate with 5 RBI's after a strong BP that turned some heads. Finished the day on the mound going 2 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts.
